Features are reflected in possibility of improving online, advanced, rationality. □ Ensure reliability of device, the system use the advanced computer and PLC, foreign hardware equipment, considering selection and subscription for the interface to existing equipment, besides the repair & maintenance, spare parts, support services and training should be considered. □ Fully absorbed years project experience, design and develop new systems to meet the company’s future technology development, production and information management needs, meantime, taking into account the facilities for system expansion and upgrading. □ Working out the overall plan and action program. 1.2 Functions of Sintering Automatic Control System Sintering automatic control system is consisted of computer, instrument control and electrical control, which functions are: □ Through communication devices, computers collect production process data, handle the data and output control order. Main functions: collect the information of iron water and scrap steel, static and dynamic blowing control, production plan control, report printing and so on. □ Functions of instrument system: detect and control parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, unnecessary, ingredient), weighing of raw materials. □ Electrical system is used for controlling the pump station: belt conveyor control, raw materials input control, the three machines (sintering machine, round stick feeder, annular cooler) security interlock protection. According to product process and operating requirements of converter furnace, the whole process automatic control system adopt existing mature computer control system. Basic grading cores are PLC and HMI, using network technology constitute the controller-based distributed control system, complete electrical transmission control and instrument process control.
